PERU 2026

OCTOBER 20th-30th

A curated journey to the land of eternal Spring, the Sacred Valley, in the Peruvian Andes.

Embark on a journey through scent, with Leanne Hirsh of Perfumera Curandera, into the sacred landscapes of the Peruvian Andes — an immersive exploration of scent and how it weaves through Andean culture, cosmology, sacred sites, healing traditions, and the wisdom of the land. This experience is designed as an expansion for the heart, spirit, and senses — with scent as its guiding thread.

Throughout the journey we will connect with local and Indigenous communities through traditional ceremonies and offerings, including limpias and ofrendas — scent present in every encounter, from the sacred botanicals and resins of ceremony to the wild florals and herbs of the highland landscape.

This is a unique and intimate itinerary built through an extensive network of Q'ero healers, weavers, farmers, makers, and local guides. More than a conventional tour, it offers an opportunity to encounter Peru — and its living culture of scent — through a deeply personal lens rooted in authentic relationships and more than three decades of connection to this extraordinary region.

PERFUMERA CURANDERA

ABOUT FOUNDER AND CREATOR LEANNE HIRSH

Perfumera Curandera is an organic botanical perfume brand; born far from a laboratory, birthed in the Amazonian Jungle on riverboats, raised in a dusty barn in Woodstock, now based in Topanga Canyon where Sage, Mugwort & Pink Pepper bloom.

Our magical scents are alive at the threshold where plant, memory, spirit, and ritual meet.

Much of the scent world behind Perfumera Curandera was born through my own experiences over decades in Peru — traveling through the Andes and Amazon, working with plants in their living environments, and learning directly through immersion in traditional healing practices and plant medicine culture. Many of the botanical extracts, resins, woods, flowers, and sacred plants that have become part of my perfumes and oils were first encountered there, not as trends or ingredients, but as part of a lived relationship with the land, the people, and the traditions surrounding these medicines.

During our journey, we will spend time with some of these same plants firsthand — exploring traditional herbal preparations, distillation, medicinal baths, and local healing traditions — experiencing the sensory and cultural world from which so much of my work has organically grown.
